Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect the personal data of PSST-PR 2027 registrants.
1. Who is responsible
Personal data collected for PSST-PR 2027 is controlled by the PSST-PR 2027 Organizing Committee (Kyung Hee University, College of Medicine, Seoul) and processed for conference operations by the Conference Secretariat / PCO, Trinity D&C.
2. What we collect
When you register, we collect the information you enter in the registration form:
- Full name, e-mail address, affiliation, country
- Number of accompanying family members
- Hotel booking method and Social Program interest
- Dietary requirements (only what you choose to state)
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not profile visitors.
3. Why we collect it
- Processing and confirming your registration and payment status
- Communicating with you about the Conference (confirmations, payment instructions, program updates)
- Planning catering, social events and on-site logistics (e.g. dietary requirements)
- Issuing receipts and handling refunds (by the Secretariat)
We do not use your data for unrelated marketing and we never sell personal data.
4. Payment data
This website does not collect or store card numbers, account numbers or any payment credentials. Online payments are made in the payment provider's own secure window (credit/debit card or PayPal); the payment provider processes your payment data under its own privacy policy, and the Secretariat receives only the information needed to confirm and settle your payment.
5. Who receives your data
- Trinity D&C (Conference Secretariat / PCO) — registration management, payment confirmation, receipts, refunds
- Payment providers — only the data required to process your payment
- No other third parties, except where disclosure is required by law
6. How long we keep it
Registration data is kept until six months after the Conference and then deleted, except for records the Secretariat must retain longer under Korean e-commerce and tax law (e.g. payment and refund records, typically five years).
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw a registration, by e-mailing KHU.Biohealth@gmail.com. Deletion requests are honoured except where retention is required by law or needed to complete a refund.
8. Security
Registration data is accessible only to the Organizing Committee members and Secretariat staff who need it for conference operations. Data is transferred and stored using access-controlled services.
9. International participants
Your data is processed in the Republic of Korea, where the Conference is held, and is protected under the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
